# Osmo

> Osmo is a San Francisco storytelling studio creating launch videos, product demos, and brand
> films for tech companies. Osmo also makes an AI video editor for motion graphics — a browser-based
> editor that builds animations as editable code, so every frame stays on-brand and fully editable.

Osmo pairs the accessibility of Canva with the power of Adobe. Instead of handing you a finished AI
video you can't change, it builds each piece as editable, programmable code — more like a website
than a traditional video — so teams keep text, colors, timing, motion, and brand rules editable
through natural language. Osmo runs ~32.7x faster than After Effects (a ~97% reduction in production
time). Import a Figma file, paste front-end code, upload an image, or drop in a reference video or
YouTube link, and Osmo builds the animation with custom controls for every element.

Founded by a team with a film background from A24, NBC, and Saturday Night Live (Chris He, Will
Hoppin, Basil Alfaro, and Alex Shevenionov). Marketing and GTM leaders at Webflow, Resend, Rho, and
Gumloop rely on Osmo. Backed by $4.6M from Bain Capital Ventures, Basis Set Ventures, MVP Ventures,
